My experience with Holborn Adams was absolutely positive! I had a false allegation made against me and was arrested. Being from a different country and not having any criminal background, I didn't know what my rights were and was given the option of having a duty solicitor represent me during the interview with the police officer. That was an absolutely horrible experience as the duty solicitor clearly had no interest in helping me and made me see the whole thing as a lost case. Fortunately, Fay Ashton took my case and showed me a different perspective of what criminal defense should be like and explained the importance of having a team specialised in pre-charge defense. She never judged me and always believed in my innocence, as well as always trying to give me reassurance and positivity, which can be hard when going through something serious like that. We have recently got 'not guilty' verdict from our trial which was a great result indeed!! When my husband was reported and under investigation then the case was decided to go for trial at Crown court, our family lost our life and we did not know what to do. As soon as my parents had spoken to Holborn Adams over the phone, they mentioned to me how confident they were with selecting him as his knowledge and background in this particular case became increasingly evident. They believed there was a clear structure with how Holborn Adams was going to approach this case and make sure that we get the correct outcome as quick as possible. Almost immediately, we arranged a zoom call for the following day in which we all got to meet and speak about the case in more detail, some key bits of information and the next steps. This was really beneficial for myself as it instantly made me feel more comfortable with what was going on as I knew that not only was this being worked on, but by someone who was incredibly experienced in dealing with these types of affusations. A week later, Holborn Adams & I met in London during the evening to talk about the details of what happened that day/night. I must say Holborn Adams was fantastic that evening. I made a terrible mistake and found myself in serious trouble with the law facing a lengthy jail sentence as I was originally charged with GBH (section 18), thanks to the expertise, and vast knowledge of Holborn Adams and his team, I'm pleased and very grateful to say he/they managed to get me a deal for a lessor offence GBH (section 20) for which I pleaded guilty to with the outcome being a suspended sentence and community order. Five months ago, my son was accused of ‘taking and making indecent photographs of a child’. The child was his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend and her allegation hit our family like a grenade.
